Heart Center Services

The Heart Center at University Medical Center is a full service diagnostic cardiac facility. The Heart Center offers advanced treatments in cardiac and peripheral vascular problems. The Heart Center also provides outpatient, and long-term cardiac rehabilitative programs to patients and family members.

Our capabilities range from nuclear cardiology to complete cardiac catheterization laboratory. Up-to-date testing, diagnosis, education and a three-phase cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation program -- all designed to maximize your potential for healthy living.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Many patients recovering from heart disease or recuperating from mayor surgery require a medically oriented exercise program.

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at University Medical Center provides medically supervised, formal exercise programs and diets tailored to each patient's specific health requirements.

Under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals, and using the latest cardiopulmonary and weight training equipment, patients are monitored by systems that check pulse rate, blood pressure and heart rhythm.
